WHO IS PONG – HOUSE OF PING
We are much more than just a Ping Pong bar. We want to offer a unique nightlife experience where sports, games, food, cocktails, live music and dancing come together. Our audience is very diverse, from children and ping pong enthusiasts that have training/tournaments during the day to young people who play around the table and dance until late at night. Our goal is to offer everyone a unique experience by creating an environment that’s open and caring. You also have the freedom to wear what you want as we want that everyone expresses themselves as they would like to. Our team consists of youngsters who enjoy working in hospitality and most importantly people who like to have fun. We have created a casual environment for our employees to work and are open to any ideas on how to improve or expand the PONG concept. You don’t want to miss our team party’s!

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO
As a member of the service staff you will have a multifunctional role in order to keep you motivated and energetic at all time. Together we will find the position that suits you and will allow you to prosper in the role you feel most comfortable.
- You will be part of the bar staff serving delicious beers and making lovely cocktails for our guests. You will learn the ins and outs of what it means to stand behind the bar and how to manage that.
- You will be fully taking care of being the hosts and welcoming all the guests and directing them to their table. You will have full responsibility and are at that moment the face of Pong and the starting point of our guests’ experience.
- You will be part of the floor staff, meaning that you will take care of taking all the orders and bringing all the drinks and food. You are expected to talk to the guest and make them feel at home.
No matter which role you will have during a shift it is important that you communicate well with your colleagues. You must be a social person who enjoys social interaction and having banter with guests as well as your colleagues. It is very important that you work hard but also that you don’t forget to have fun, as this is the energy we want to radiate to our guests.
YOU ARE…:
- A lover of the hospitality industry (and pingpong).
- Experience in hospitality is a plus but not a must.
- Social/extrovert person – you get energy from meeting new people, and making new connections.
- Teamplayer – you like to work with other people and have good communication skills.
- Flexible – flexible in the hours that you work.
- Enthusiastic – you love your job and you like to talk to everyone.
We also want you to know that we celebrate mistakes and want to teach as much as possible.
